Default Fz38 Infrared Tips

Guys

I recently got an IR filter and fancy having a go at producing something nice.
Any of you done any infrared and can help me with a bit of settings advice please ??

Start with a LONG exposure, on my Canon 550D I am using anything over a 15 second exposure so I'm not sure on the 38, I own one as well...then you can google or youtube "processing IR photos in Photoshop" or what ever editor you use. It's a process doing this and I am also learning.
You have to swap color channels etc
