Default FZ45 Battery Question

Hi, is it better to remove the battery from the camera, if it is not being used for a few days to extend battery use, also are there any compatable batteries that are recommended.

Many Thanks Dave

If your only talking a few days then it's not worth the effort to remove the battery, if you were talking a couple of months then, yes I would remove the battery even though the likelihood of it leaking is extremely small.

The FZ40/45 battery has extra connections inside that allow the battery charge monitor to work. There are third party batteries available (check the internet), but all say they are not fully compatible, i.e no battery monitor.
