Default Sunset from my backyard - FZ35

We had a really cool sunset this evening. These are SOOC, just resized. I ran outside with both my cameras; I think the GF1 gave me better detail, but I think these from the FZ35 show more dramatic colors.

Few minutes later

Great shots saly, be nice to compare the GF1 image along side these

What is the 'pole' just right of center, near bottom edge of image?

Thanks square one - here's the GF1 version. The "pole" in the middle is actually a tall cypress tree. This is also SOOC.

The color is more intense with the FZ; but to me, there's more detail in the clouds with the G1.

All are stunning, BTW.

Thanks saly

As Carol says there is more detail in the clouds with the GF1, but also looks 'cleaner' to me as well, thanks for the opportunity to compare.

Great sunset, I love the colours and the cloud formations. You were lucky you had the opportunity to photograph it with two cameras!

Great sunset shots! Those are simply stunning! Can I ask, though, what settings you used with the FZ35? I'd love to be able to get a sunset result like that if I ever get the opportunity.
