Default Outer Banks Sunset

Since I don't think you guys appreciated my super rare shot of the beach squid I thought I would try something different.

Wow wow wow wow, jj!! This is a fantastic image! Doesn't get much better than this. Love the way you composed it to capture more of the water, with the beautiful soft clouds reflecting. So nice...!!!!

BTW, I like your new avatar!!

Thanks JayC. This was taken near Corolla, NC on the Outer Banks at the end of a very nice nature trail. And yes it was very peaceful.

Saly, thank you for the very nice comment.

This was a hard shot to get the exposure right, hard to get a good balance between the dark and light. I think I used AE-Lock to set the exposure then framed the shot. I did do a little PP on the image to bring out a little more detail.

Glad you like the new avatar. I think it looks like Laci is checking out the shots and smiling.

I thought maybe you had shown your Cat one of my shots when you took the picture.

Hi Diane, hope all is well with you. Don't get to see much of you since you moved to the DSLR world.
