Default Snowy Owl

Shot with an FZ150 and a TCON-17 teleconverter. A bit of snow in the air and the light was not all that great, but still . . .

Really nice shot Steve. It's great seeing what that combo can do.

Enjoyed viewing the shots on Flicker.

What a nice shot! Snowflake is absolutely beautiful; I love the markings on his wings in your other photos!

Thanks for sharing these; as I've never seen an owl! I hear them frequently, but never have seen one.

Beautiful, beautiful shot, Steve... I just got a TCON-17 on eBay this weekend I'm planning on using on my HS-20, especially for lunar shots... looking forward to getting it!

Thanks all. Glad you like this guy.

And Saly - since your signature lists an FZ35, I think this camera is a wee bit better although I still am quite fond of mine.

I'm jealous that you have these beautiful birds in your area! No chance in Southern California where I live. Thanks for sharing this special moment!
