Default Yellow beauty.

I took this with a Panasonic DMC f3, a cheap pocket camera, so simple to operate, and perfect pics if you have a steady hand, a bean bag, or a tripod. This was just a grab shot hand held on my walk home from the shops. Always carry a camera.

It's very beautiful indeed, though it shows orange on my screen.
A few tips, if you wouldn't mind:
1. As much as possible, cover the full subject. Petals cut at the edge distract.
2. Though the texture of the petals show well, I feel the picture still needs better focus, particularly at the centre.
3. The name of the flower would be of extra interest. I have always felt that photography teaches us more than what we just see and capture.

I agree with raghu but i have to add that i really like the colors they make the picture look like a painting i dont know if you did it on purpose but it has vintage colors like an old ad or something Looks nice !

Nice one Grounded. I think Raghu offered some good advice.

I always have an old Fuji F10 in the car. Never know when it will come in handy.

Comments and suggestions for improvement welcome and appreciated.
