Great series Raghu, very colourful indeed. I thought the tractor pulling the float was quite unusual. Maybe in previous years it was towed by a donkey/horse?

Thanks banksy. In south India, bullock carts were more in use than donkey or horse drawn carts. Urbanization, particularly bordering cities and towns, has resulted in the decline of agriculture and availability of bullocks. So people are resorting to other ways.
