Default Pathfinder makes another visit - Part 2

If you haven't noticed by now it is a Christmas tree on the end of the self-unloading boom. I thought someone was standing there when the ship was farther out. That's Christmas Great Lakes style!

By now it's getting pretty dark, and I can hardly feel my hands or face. She's almost docked.

This last shot is a panorama of the harbor and marina. It turned out rather oddly. I was trying to make the shot a 180 degree shot, but after the photo stitching program got done it looks more like a fork in the road!

Well, that's all the photos. I hope you like them!

Neat capture JayC. I think you really enjoy seeing these big ships.

I grew up in this area, and it never gets old seeing them come in to unload coal. That was one of the main reasons I wanted a superzoom camera was so I can take shots of them as they sail by. I love the Great Lakes. They have such a rich history. It has been years since I have been to the Upper Peninsula of MI. It is absolutely beautiful up there.

Don't tempt me! Must... Resist... Resistance... Is...

I just got my FZ35 back in March. You don't know how hard it's been for me not to sell my FZ35 to get the FZ150 or even... gasp... the SX40 with that 35x zoom. I'm not sure where to sell my FZ35 if I were to do so. I don't do the eBay thing.
