Default Puppy Dog Duck

He is really a Long-tailed Duck, but they always remind me of a cute puppy, maybe a Beagle. You can click on him to see a few more or see this one larger.

Thanks Raghu, saly, banksy,catalex54 and jjdog2. I am lucky to live by Lake Michigan and have interesting birds to photograph. This species is rare, but one of my favorites.

Strange duck indeed! If I saw a picture anywhere else I would have thought it was photoshopped. Great capture!
