Some great pictures here. #1 is my fav -- enough twigs to make it interesting, but not too many to distract from the focal point of the image.

I've tried these kinds of shots with limited success (FZ35) in focus. I have used Spot focus. What did you use on these shots? Did you have many others that were not in focus? I had plenty of discards!

@ Roger: all photos were made ​​with spot-focus, only some have been discarded for the micro-moved due to the fact that the camera was hand held.

catalex54- I hope you don't mind- but I tweaked no 1 a bit,as I felt the sky colour was overpowering the little fella a bit...!
