Default my baby girl was due today, here she is!

meet Lily

well, she was due today, but in fact she was born 10 weeks ago on 11.11.11. she had a pretty rough ride but shes doing great now and loves time with mummy pictured here with her. tried the black and white aproach to be more artistic, the lighting wasnt perfect due to eco friendly bulbs in the room (might as well have a candle) shot at f/2.9, 1/80 sec, iso 100 with all other settings at standard and using the in built flash. played around with the settings but these gave the best results imo. let me know if i was even close please as i am here to learn and willing to change

regards,
john

Congrats John, on becoming a proud dad! Your baby is just cute and adorable! These are occasions where technical perfection is NOT needed at all! Don't worry, click to your heart's (and the memory card's) content. Just take care if at all you have to use the flash, it doesn't hurt the infant.
Cheers,
Raghu

had a pop-up flash defuser on for that reason, might be why theyre a little dark. but didnt want to upset her or harm her eyes. best 2.99 i ever spent too. great little gimick, it just clips into the hotshoe.
