(slaps own head really hard for not reading properly) sorry eysha, fz 38. no hotshoe. im a dullard! would suggest a defuser of some kind tho to eliminate/reduce shadow on close ups.

When i find a ping pong ball i am sure i will try it. Anything that helps my photographic attempts.
