Default Snowy Egret - FZ35+LT55

This is a very small North American Heron, only about 2 feet tall. I'm really pleased with the way the FZ handled the white feathers.

Very nice Saly! I have seen a lot of people try and use that combination and fail; you get it right. Question, what was the bird standing on in the first and second one?

Thanks eysha, it's my standard "P" mode, ISO 80. EV down by a full 1 point. And a nearby bench or my knee to set the camera on. I can't hold a camera steady enough with a long lens! Oh, and I took 45 shots of this bird and these are the ones I liked!

Thanks JJ, he is standing on a handrail along a short walkway in the park. There is a small pond on the other side and he was looking for fish from a vantage point. Here's another shot from a distance.
