a truly grand entrance indeed alex, well done.
the wooden door itself almost seems out of place amongst the fine stone masonary and marble pillars. tell them to get some dark oak doors on immediately

good shooting

have you ever been to england? theres a gorgeous cathedral in the city of canterbury not far from where i grew up. its full of intricate stone work inside and out, very similar to your building here. google it if you have never seen it. its one of my favourite buildings anywhere, and still not too far to travel to from where i live now. maybe i'll get some pics of it when the weather's nice to show you. i love old architecture, so much more thought went into it.

Thanks for your kind appreciation John, I'm sure that even in England there are some beautiful architecture and old churches (the cathedral of Canterbury is fantastic and impressive)

Incredible art work...it puts modern architecture to shame!
