I was disappointed to see the lack of FZ47/48 posts on here, kind of has been over shadowed by the FZ150 which I'm sure is rightfully so but the FZ47 is still a great little camera on it's own!

The way I see it, as people upgrade their equipment, they use the old ones less and less. I still have the FZ28 but it's been in its case for a couple of years. I'm sure lots of people here still have the FZ47/48 but, like my FZ28, they're not being used because they have the new models. That's my guess.

The FZ47/48 is the new current model but the FZ150 is the high end of the FZ series now! The 150 is in the $400 + dollar range where the 47 has been as low as $180-280 range but lacks some features the 150 has including different sensor! Both were released the same time but where the 150 has been viewed as the best ultra zoom on the market the 47 with no Raw shooting feature was kind of tossed aside although did have great reviews on it's own. I personally do not need Raw even though everyone tells me I should be using it. I find the Jpeg editing I do works just fine with my limited of editing software and ability so the FZ47 works for me just fine!
