Default Venice in B&W

This is a little experiment in B&W of views of Venetian Gothic style:

Both nice B&W renditions but those scenes are usually so color-rich that I feel I'm missing a lot by seeing them in B&W.

Very nice pictures. The effect of clouds, flowing water and the reflection of the arches give a very nice feel to the second picture.

Great shots catalex, the B&W shows the details more clearly then the color versions which emphasize the delicate colors better

Ditto. The B&W looks very dramatic. I thought the colors were a lot more saturated and rich than they really are. Thanks for posting the colored version as well.

the texture in the second b&w is really nice, it looks like a great trip i would love to visit it sometime
