Default Leaf hopper

Picked a small flower, brought it indoors to practice with my raynox 250, then saw this little fellow on it, he obligingly stayed while I managed 5 shots before flying off.
Comments please, how can I improve? this was Manual with flash (my home made snoot) sighted through the L C D and hand held. got exp etc by having the first shot on P then transferring the settings to M.

I think I see some camera movement. I say this because the entire image is blurred. If this was a focusing issue, then you will see something sharp while the subject may be out of focus. Any tiny movement will blur your image at this magnification. Try to find something to face the camera against, or use a tripod.

This was a bit difficult Saly, as I dare not move the small flower for fear of the bug taking off, and I had nowhere to place my tripod, in any case I doubt the critter had the patience to wait for fine tuning.
