Thank you then Steve. I looked at your photostream on Flicker and must say the images are excellent - I'm looking forward to seeing more. I've read testimony from many professionals who say the fz150 is the best camera they've ever owned.

I think i have my mind made up on the camera purchase..

ps. my older brother lives in northern Italy and has thousands of photographs and some video at this following url - he invites one and all to peruse at your leisure:

For comparison purposes, here is one shot with the FZ35 and tele converter. From a bit farther away, and a motion shot. There are more under this one on Flickr also.

Steve, I didn't know you had such a fabulous and exhaustive collection stored on Flickr. Looks I will require months to view them all. Compared to what you have there, I think you are posting only very little, selective ones here. Glad I got to know the site, and thanks for the link.

I always do some post processing. Which can be extremely minimal. Probably for that one I used the Smart Fix feature of Elements 9. That adjusts color, contrast, and levels. For most of my keeper shots the difference between the before and after is minimal when I do that. I also quite often, but not always, use a noise reduction software called Neat Image. I use it as an elements plug-in, and turn the noise reduction aspect of it way down, and add a little sharpening with it, as it sharpens very subtly, which works for me. I also cropped, and then resized down before saving.

Below is unedited and uncropped. Did resize down though.

Yeah, pretty much the only time I post here is if I think it is something interesting. I am not trying to impress folks and all that, I just take pictures for fun.
