Not to hijack your thread, but I had similar concerns with images I shot a couple of weeks ago -- a sunset sequence across a lake. How much to leave at the bottom, or top, to make the image? How does the one-third line relate to the primary line in composing the image?

No, it isn't much of a lake, but the only one nearby. Any comments, or suggestions to make these better is welcomed.

They are all very nice Roger!
Personally would in such a way that the line acts as a mirror, corresponded to the center of the horizon (half-height).
