thanks raghu and alex, last night was a very clear night due to a lovely mild season. nothing like a normal february here at the moment. still sunny today but wont do much photography as its my 40th birthday and im eating too much cake lol. im wondering what difference a teleconverter will make to moon shots, if it will make more detail visible and bring the moon much closer. hoping to find out soon if i get the right presents lol

regards
john

Wish I had people and friends presenting cameras and lenses! lol. That aside, the sky seemed clear yesterday and the moon was pretty high (nowhere near horizon like when I shot the other two). I am pleased with this. I think my FZ 28 is catching up to 100, if not 150! If posting alone, I would have captioned this 'A Cup of Craters'!

There's plenty of life in the fz 28 my friend. Great shot and love the caption lol. Its mainly when i do a moon pic that i realise how much i like the fz100. I know the 150 may improve the quality but until Alex posts an fz150 moon shot we won't know
