She was very protective, but a bit of patience on my part, and I got what I think is a very nice shot. I am also very modest?

Wow! Beautiful, doesn't cover it! The detail in mom's feathers, the color & depth of the water (see underneath), and of course her attention to her babies, all go into making a most exceptional photograph!
