Default Venus-Jupiter

The two planets are making a sparkling appearance in the western sky late in the evening. This was shot at 8.15pm yesterday, ISO 100, 15 seconds exposure:

I watch the sky and have never to my recollection seen these two planets in such close conjunction. Nice image!

you could try drawing with them both at the same time raghu. i bet that would bring about some interesting results. im going to try and sign my name with mars

Including the illuminated house in the shot was a master stroke, made sense of a puzzling (to those who knew not what you were photographing) image, well done.

Something in the air must have read your message, John! Look what happened when I was trying another shot of the same spot. Something jolted the mount and the camera has created this picture:

It was a clear night today and the cute Pleiades cluster was so beautifully visible. Note the shift in the position of the planets as compared to the earlier photo two days back.
