It was great Steve. I took so many pictures for fear of not getting a second chance that i ended up with about 70 good pics and about 30 chuckers. He couldn't have been easier to snap if he'd been in a glass case. Perfect habitat for him there and English/ European Robins enjoy the company of chafinches, of w/hich there are many there. All in all, perfect surroundings. Im going back for sure

The first two shots look very soft (perhaps too much noise reduction applied). The last one looks better!

Oh what a cute bird! The only robin we have around here is the magpie robin which is a very good singer, but pure black and white. Your bird is very colorful. Great shots, John.

Tullio, i merely post my shots in this section as others do, for the enjoyment and sharing of interest. I don't often post in the critique section as i seldom find negative criticism useful. However i take your comments on board and had i posted in the critique section i probably only would have selected the last image myself.

I didn't even know there was a critique section until you wrote this. Can learn something every day I guess.

lol its a painful place to visit steve, i advise a wide berth if you like your pride intact. even the most beautiful pictures will find criticism there!

I probably won't go there. I take pictures that make me happy, and while I can look at them and see things I would like to improve, my way of looking at them is not the same as others.

Aslo, being half blind, I am easy to please on mine and other people's shots.
