Default R/R shots FZ35

For some reason I love shooting Rail Road photos, A few from last summer!

hi OOL99, love the first and last pics. the infinate nature of the straight line shot would make great subject matter for an HDR shot. i really like your composition. great series, hope to see more!

I love railroad photos - perhaps it's because they were the first (and still are) basically the largest moving mechanical devices on land. Here is a link if you haven't already been there.

Thanks for the comments, even though I do have a Train or two in these shots I really am not a train photographer type. I mainly like tracks and the scenery around them!

I like them all...great job! My son (15) is a train fanatic and we are currently building an O scale 5X11 layout. I'll show him this thread!

Well, not many people focus on tracks, that way these shots are unique. The structure of the rail at the joint is slightly different in your place, I will try to show ours when I get a chance to shoot one. All are very nice, except for the rusted drum which I find is too much of a distraction in that photo. Well done, look forward to seeing more!
