you chose a very hard angle to shoot from jj with the bud growing out towards you. focal point is always restricted when shooting this way, and i feel you nailed it mate. the texture of the petal facing the sun is crisp and detailed. perfectly captured my friend, well done!

I think the trick is not to use a very shallow DoF. Well done!
