Default kings private chapel at dover castle

I visited Dover Castle once more today, even though the weather dreadful. a real pea souper of a day. fog was thick enough to mist up the lense in 10 secs.

so into the castle itself i ventured...

the first shot is leading from the castle ground floor, up to the private chambers of the king himself. it is intended as an artistic shot, and although i have a well lit picture of this coridoor, i favoured this one. through the back of the chambers and onto the second and third shots, which are of the king's own private chapel. only he would ever use these rooms, privately and alone.

i visited every inch of the castle's interior today but chose to keep to a minimum of my 3 favourite shots. i may post some of the grand banquet room and kings bedroom at a later time.

hope you enjoy these.

regards,
john

That is a very well shot picture. (I only see the first one for some reason if there are supposed to be more.) And yeah, thanks for the history. It adds to the shot.

(Edit next morning) Now I can see them all, and they are all fine shots. A good place to visit.
