Default Eggs sunny side up?

hi guys,
today i went to the beach on my own and came across some bizzare things. i went there with clear intention of shooting some chalk cliffs that through errosion have seperated from the mainland on this particular beach. making for great shots. sadly the biggest thunder storm decided to try and spoil my day (it failed, i'll show the other pics later)

however, i did find these. they are Whelk Egg Cases. often found washed up on the beaches here. also known as "sailors soap" due to the fact that when you rub them in water they release a foamy substance, and sailors back in the old days used to use them to wash their hands when at sea for long periods of time. both shots are macro with no additional lens.

hope you like them...

regards,
john

i also walked right in on the making of a bollywood movie. i had to wait 20 mins before i could get past them onto the chalk cliffs, without ruining one of their 'takes'. it was fun to see people in costumes running in thick sand from the beach when the thunder and lightening started. only person left on the beach besides me was their camera man, with his umbrella. he couldnt move his things as it would ruin the shot when they hoped to come back. poor guy lol.

That's cool John. You should have asked them if they needed any extras for the movie. Just think John you could have been a star.
