Default Birds of a feather...

i went to the river today with my eldest daughter Laura, aged 6. just like her brother, she too is a keen young photographer. ducks young and old and even a jackdaw showed up. snapped a few ok-ish DIF shots too. needed cropping and most of the harm was done there so i hope you dont mind me showing them. i wasnt totally prepared for any duck flight today as i was mainly at ground level with the posers lol

here's a rather large selection of what i took today, and believe me im showing some restraint

and a few more, including Laura getting a close up. even got nipped on the finger for her troubles, and still took more pics. im gonna post a couple of hers on here too if there's no objections. they are with an olympus but i wish to stretch the rules to accomodate her lol

I like the fifth one. He looks like he got quacked right off the edge by the other duck.

thanks alex, some here i would or should have posted on their own but im glad you like them. had a lot of fun getting close up to the friendly ducks. all but the one that bit laura's finger lol.
