Default 2 BIFS and a waiting gull...

i went to the harbour near where i live, just before sunset tonight. the water was beautiful, like a mirror. the light was strong and low so perfect for some bifs as long as i worked fast. the last of the spring sun at around 7.30pm brought me these few shots. i hope you like them.

the one flying away was slightly OoF but the water was so nice i thought it worth a show.

regards,
john

Actually, all three shots have birds in flight if you count the two beyond the waiting gull. I like that waiting gull, by the way. An interesting bird.

Beautiful shots John! I agree the water surface is beautiful, love the way the wing tip is dipping into the water and the reflection in #2. Lighting in fantastic in #3 (would be better if you level out the horizon). Nice job!

That wall in the background is a pier that curves from the left out to the right so it actually is straight. That's the way the wall goes. Altering it to level the wall would make the gull jean over to the right too much.
