Default New Pana poster

I've had my ZS-8 for nearly a year, and have never posted anything in this forum. Today my wife took some pics with it, of me and my boy King.

I have yet to really put the camera through its paces, but the lens is very sharp.

King, waiting in my old Ford F-150 to ride to my mother's house.

Dog kisses!

It does really good macro, will have to try that as well.

OK, I tried it. Here is a shot of a partially eaten plate of peach cobbler.

Part of the reason I went to my mother's house today. She turned 90 Friday, and still makes the best peach cobbler in the south!

We also had vanilla ice cream.

If that is your usual standard, then please post some more, they are delightful.

Thanks, Mary, I hope to continue to frequent this forum, you ARE a friendly bunch

My mother is so old-school, she makes everything from scratch, even her dumplings, which she rolls flat with a rolling pin. See attached photo, for all who don't remember
