Default The Sanderling Show

So titled because, if you click on picture, you will go to Flickr, and there you can see four more shots under this one. Three of them are redder and may be prettier, and all of them have their feet instead of having them cut off by a dip at the waterline like the one shown here. But this is the one I like the most, so here it is.

The Sanderling Show by Happy_Peasant, on Flickr

Actually, having seen them before, I know what their feet look like so it's no big thing to me. FZ150 and TCON-17. Shot freehand laying on the beach with a 1/2000 second shutter speed.

Really great feather detail on these Steve, some of the best I have seen out of the FZ150.

Some pun, JJ missed the 'best'! I checked your Flickr site. Great shots and greater effort, Steve! Keep it up, laying down!

Thanks Mary, jj, Alex, Raghu. And Mary, retirement is a mixed blessing. The downside is it means you are getting old.
