Excellent shots, Alex. LT55 has really helped you. Kingfisher has always been my favourite bird, but I have never been able to get such good shots as you got. The ones we have here mostly have orange-red beak. My favourite shot was this, with the bird more than 100ft away:

Lucky you Alex (and Raghu)! I don't think we have kingfishers of those colors where I live. So beautiful, like a piece of jewelry with wings!!
