Default my first damselfly...

took this one earlier today whilst out with Trudi. wanted to stay all day and work on getting a better shot but it was so hot out and we had Lily with us in a buggy. now i know where to find them locally i will make a trip with the tripod and get more

Thanks Saly and Raghu, saw loads of red ones there today and even more blue ones. Didn't have time to get a good blue one photographed though. Will go back at the weekend and take more time. If only i had a macro lens eh

thanks Alex, the first one is a handheld HDR 3 shot. it stayed still for ages, but after that it didnt stop long so a quick change of settings and i continued. wish i'd had my tripod for the still one though
