Congratulations on the new camera Simon, it looks like it is working well. Looking forward to more shots from your part of the world.

I always keep my eyes open for a great price on a used camera.

Have picked up a Canon A620 and a Fuji F10 for about nothing.

Good luck with the new camera Simon. I also like to combine photography with cycling.

Thanks corkpix- my training rides on my bike take me far and wide- and would be a sin to travel without a camera- after all,you never know what you may stumble upon...!
The TZ10 seems ideal- with it's robust and reassuring construction, useful zoom range, good stabiliser, good "fringe free" optics, manual exposure modes and generally swift operation makes it the ideal travel snapper- and a bit lighter than carrying a DSLR around on a bike...!!
