Default King and harley get a bath

Today my son and his dog Harley, a black German Shepherd, accompanied the King and I to the Humane Society's monthly doggie bathe-in. The US Navy was there to help with the animals, and I was glad, because King weighs 90 pounds dry! I only got a few pics, because the only time I wasn't wrestling with my animal was when he was in the tub! All these were shot with my trusty Panasonic ZS8.

First pic is Harley. She is one month shy of a year old, and has not been socialized like King. She tried to bite the lady that tried to lift her into the tub, so Steve had to put her in there.

Second pic, King has been coming here for four years, so he knows the score, and is pretty peaceful. Everybody there loves him, he's got such a good temperment.

Third pic, again, King showing restraint with strangers. He's a good boy.

Fourth pic, all the guys in the yellow t-shirts were volunteers from the Naval Air Station here. Nice bunch of guys, to do this on their day off. Like one said, "I love animals". OK.

Fifth pic, this is the leg of a navy gal, not real sure what this is, but it looked like maybe a fish?

Cute shots Robert, enjoyed. King looks like a giant marshmallow in #2.
