Default Hmmmingbird Opinions

I'm still learning what the FZ150 can do. Our hummingbirds only come out in later afternoon so the ISO got to 1250 to get the high shutter speed. I see other humming bird shots that are crystal clear. I think I did pretty good given the light, but I would like some opinions. Any good.

I think you did great with a very difficult subject. Keep shooting and post some more.

Do you know the name of the plant?

The palnt is called a Red Hot Poker. It's a hummingbird magnet. As I look at the shots, I'm thinking of upping the shutter speed to 1/2000 with a chair next to the plant so I don't lose aperature with the zoom and keep the ISO reasonable. Thanks for responding. Anyone else? I can take "they suck" or suggestions.
