Justin- your right about the price...
And the upgrade is the f2.8 lens throughout the zoom range- plus a couple of subtle changes and a HDR mode...
What would a 400mm f/2.8 lens cost for an APS-C....??!!

The large aperture throughout the zoom range really should set it apart from ALL its competitors- and Kudos to Panasonic for making it happen- and interestingly, the two "upgrades" I mention were probably all the FZ-150 needed anyway..!!
I can't wait for a decent review to see how it performs...
Oh I forgot to mention the upgraded 1.3 million dot viewfinder- and I think the battery/battery life is improved also...

Just an update, answering my own question really.here is a link to show you the optional accs
http://www.panasonic.net/avc/lumix/c...cessories.html.
It seems the lens has a 52mm thread. I didn't see a wireless remote though.(me expecting too much).

The lens threading is only for the filters; I am curious about the threading and size of the DMW-LA7 since the FZ150 uses an LA5 .

This is a good page, thanks for finding it.

It looks like the FZ200 will require the LA-7 adaptor.

For those interested, this great link also shows a remote shutter release!

This is only a guess but LMC52 uses a 52mm thread, so perhaps LT 55 and LC 55 for the LA7 = 55mm thread ? the numbers make sense.
I noticed the remote but just a measly 1.5mtrs.
My nikon wireless remote fires at 20 ft+ so I would miss the extra distance.
Still I would have to go back to the old press the button on delay and run like hell to get in the picture. :-)

The more I look at this camera the more I want one.
I have a feeling that it will make my Nikon outfit redundant, the weight factor alone but also it seems to do all that my Nikon does and more. I know it's sensor is small but I never print above A4 anyway.
Who will need to crop anything with a zoom like that?
Someone please try to talk me out of it as the other half will NOT be pleased....:-)

Yeah, but the LMC52 is a filter, and screws directly on the lens, which appears to have 52mm threading just like my FZ150. So the LA7 is not needed for that. And the LC and LT 55 go on the end of my LA5 when used on my FZ150. So I wonder what has changed to justify making a new converter tube. It must be either the length or the threading where it meets the camera as the other end has to be 55mm to hold the 55mm conversion lenses.

Also, regarding your next post and somebody talk you out of buying this: Not a chance. Get it and tell us all about it. So what if you have to sleep on the couch afterwards.

Would these still work on this new camera? (DMW-LC55 + DMW-LT55 + DMW-LA5
