Default Full Zoom Macro Mode

Per catalex54 suggestion, tried full zoom with macro mode. What a difference. Thanks. On another topic, has anyone noticed that at full zoom you can't get a focus lock with zooming out and then back in a bit?

That is a beautiful image, not only sharp but colors and bokeh are wonderful.

Pboerger excellent result!
I forgot to tell you that in this type of photo is better to use the center spot metering.

I really don't know. I was wandering around the garden and saw the bee hovering and just shot. Maybe 10 to 15 feet. Anybody on the zoom question?

What am i doing wrong?
I have the FZ38 and tried to take a shot at full zoom with macro lens on, no luck - why?
I had the camera on Aperture at F8 with macro zoom on, i still had to stand only about two feet away from the flower, no bees available today unfortunately.
Here is the flower i took today and i left the inormation on it, no alterations have been made at all.
Why can't i get shots like the ones shown?
Is it the camera or me?
Advice and help greatly appreciated.

Dear Eysha, you must not use the macro lens, but activate the camera's macro mode, while you're at max zoom!
