Unusual, never seen those before, Why did you let that leaf get in the way? ever thought of using a black card in the background, works wonders.

thanks for the tips grounded. as to the leaf.....wasps and bumblebees were dive bombing me was a snap and run.

Singing Milkweed! haha I grew up in texas and saw milkweed, but I never saw the chorus. Dang!

Mary, very beautiful! Actually, I like the leaf; the veins in it are really nice, and I think adds to the photo.
