Default FZ-150 goes to Bangor Cathedral.

I tested an SX40HS here- so it seemed logical to re-visit with the Panny...!

Thanks jj- as for which I prefer- the Panny.
They both have their strong points. I wouldn't say one is better than the other- but one may suit someone's style of shooting or subject matter better than the other.

Hi Simon,
Very nice pics but,one thing that bothers me is in pic 2 and that is the bloom coming from the window.
My FZ7 does this, so perhaps it is something that all small sensor cameras do, or just Panasonic. I'm wondering if a filter would stop it?
I only have a glass protection filter on the FZ7.
As I use my Nikon for this sort of pic I have not bothered to experiment with any more filters on the panny.
My Nikon D5000 does not do this,(UV filter fitted) I know this is not a fair comparison but these smaller cameras are definately getting a lot closer to DSLR results and usage.
The other thing I noticed is that some of the shots (maybe all) were made on iso 400 with as slow as 1/4 sec @80mm.
Were they hand held or did you use a tripod ?
They are very crisp, well done.

Hi deadshot- the blooming in the second pic was from a poor attempt at an HDR image- my program is a naff online freebie.. which often ends up with the highlights as displayed. The camera doesn't suffer with any such like problems on single exposures of any kind.
None of the shots were taken with a tripod, though many were "resting" on anything I could find- some were taken in the low light mode- which combines several images in a burst,in the name of a cleaner final image- it chose whatever iso it felt like.
