Default Monarch, etc. (FZ35+LC55)

The temperature dipped a bit Friday so I went out to the arboretum.


#1 I was looking for anything to shoot when this Monarch landed right in front of me!!

#3 The very tiny Grey Hairstreak Butterfly:




#4 A very different colored Damselfly. I have not seen this color combination before. It looked like a colorful thread floating in air.

What have you got that I haven't? those insects seem to have no fear of you or your camera. I did hear that early morning shooting is the best time, while their wings are still damp keep it up your pic's are gorgeous.
