Default I'm a happy new owner of FZ150!!

Yes, that's right! A very dear friend gave me one yesterday. I've only spent a bit of time with it and still getting used to it, but I'm really impressed with the performance. Images look better SOOC than my FZ35, and it's low-light performance is amazing.

#4 These are not very good as far as hummer shots go, but I thought the camera did great in this light condition. The bird was in deep shade with very bright background.

Congrats Saly, and what fine images you got with the new one! Proves your signature is right!

If another friend passes on another camera, 150 or 200, would you mind passing it on to me? My FZ28 is living on extended life!

Saly, I can't think of anyone more deserving of such a wonderful gift!

Just when I thought your images couldn't get any better; you proved me wrong! These are such great photos!

Congratulations, Saly; I know the FZ150 will be treasured & used well in your capable hands!

Nice shots. Can you tell me if you used any additional filters? I'm still learning and would want as much information as I can gather...and of course lots of practice...Thanks!

Yes, the closeup were all shot with the DMW LC-55 conversion lens, which requires the DMW-LA5 adapter tube for the FZ150. I've been using the LC-55 on my FZ35 and it is very easy to use and versatile. The hummingbird shots were just the FZ150 alone.

Just love that humming bird, I think it is the first time I have seen one perched. I think we are in for some treats when you get used to your new toy.
