Default Problem with Pan PhotoFunStudio

I've not bothered before; but just used the CD to download the PhotoFunStudio 5.0 HD Edition.

It will not open! Whenever I click on it, a box opens saying the display must be 1024 & 768 (16 bits) or higher. Which my display is. The program will go no further. The SilkyPix & QuickTime opens fine.

Any suggestions, before I remove it? Very disappointed, as I wanted to use the program for Panoramics.

G'day Carol

Is there a help link back to the supplier / creator of the product where you can ask them?

Regards, Phil

Phil, not that I can find. I also downloaded Hugin, and can't get the panos to a nice size. Guess I've got lots of homework to do.

G'day Carol

If it's panos that you're after, you have 1/2-dozen choices, some free $, others $20 +/-

Several years ago I investigated pano software, tried 8 - 10 or so, easily determined why many were free !! - and ended up with Pixtra [pixtra.com]
It's a magic piece of software, one of many try-before-you-buy

Its help files are better than MS gives with MS Office
You might like to have a look at it
Regards, Phil

Carol, you may just need to download a newer version of PhotoFun. Try this link: http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/soft/download/index.html

Saly; thanks so much for that link! I'm using Vista, so perhaps the original CD isn't compatible. I'll give this a try.
