Default Lx7 baby & cathedral interior

Hi all,

more LX7 goodies, this time my youngest nephew, only a few weeks old, and the inside of the great church in my town.

taken in portrait / normal mode; crop + resize sharpen only


taken in creative / soft focus mode; resize only


same as above with crop & 'dream edit'


little shadow/highlight compensation applied in pp


resize/sharpen only


heavier shadow/highlight & brightness/contrast compensation

Very cute baby. I also like all your cathedral shots, like the way you played with DOF in the first. I also like the last one with motion blur of people, I always thought that was dramatic showing the contrast between the solid, permanent building and temporary "visitors".

That fast aperture works great indeed; helps a lot with the low light and DOF; generally a challenge with small-sensor cameras.
