Default Recommended SD card?

I'm going to get a new SD card for my FZ40 that will also be used in my future FZ200.

What recommendations would you nice folks have, as to which is the best one?

You might well get one of the faster ones, as even if the camera can't use a card as fast as the latest models, since prices have come down so much, I'd probably buy one of the faster ones anyway.

These are probably as good as it gets right now in SDHC cards. They're rated at up to 90MB/Second Write Speeds and 95MB/Second Read Speeds. Of course, that's under optimum conditions using specific block sizes in faster UHS-1 Compliant devices. But, they'll still work in cameras and card readers designed for SDHC Cards that don't have the ability to read or write as fast as the cards are capable of (as a camera may not be able to process and write images that fast). But, at least that way (using the fastest cards around), you'll know the card isn't the bottleneck.

Jim, I appreciate your suggestion, and the link! The prices are very low!

That is the one I'll get.

Thanks Phil; I'm ordering the 8GB ExtremePro Class 10.

As long as I was going to get another card, glad I got this information to get the best!
