Default Wood Ducks are back (FZ150)

I think they are the most colorful and prettiest ducks native to North America. They just arrived here for the winter.

Male and Female:

Very nice colour and details. #2 looks like a painting on canvas, well done!

The colors of the male are almost surreal.

Very good captures!

Hey, What have we here" Wood ducks ya say? Looks like some stunning models showing off their newest fashion clothing. I'll tell you what, if one of these does not make it into the photo of the day, I will be totally disappointed.! These are so good I am a bit jealous. You got these out of a point and shoot?

I love number two so much I downloaded it as a background for the old 'puter, and I rarely so something like that. Seriously. you did an amazing job!!!!!!!

Well thank you so much Frank! Really appreciate your encouragement. They do look a bit like decoys, don't they?

Amazing shots! I love all of them, but #1 with the wood in the photo really takes my eye!

I agree; they are the most beautiful ducks; I've yet to see one in person.
