Default Abit of b/w with my Fz100

Went out the other day and tried abit of black nd white photography, as I tried before to convert back from a color picture to b/w, but I have found you loose some detail If you just convert Instead of shooting strait In that mode first.

Now i know it's the 100. nice contrast between the shots. Have you tried desaturation? does that loose detail?

Wow! #2 is my favorite, followed closely by #3! I love the contrast of the sails!

The sailboard looks fantastic!! A suggestion on #1 - I find all the darkness on the bottom to be distracting. You may want to crop out the bottom 1/3 of the image to a 16:9 aspect ratio.
