Second one is very dramatic. was it taken with the 35, 150 or 200? what settings? where is it? Tell us all,lol.

I agree, the second shot is very dramatic (although I find the stuff in the foreground a little distracting). The first shot would have been perfect if the bird was looking sideways! Water looks great.
