Default FZ 200 wil arrive today.

I have been waiting to upgrade from my FZ18 to the FZ200 and I thought for sure Black Friday would see the price come down to $499. Well that did not happen so I figured I would wait until Cyber Monday and they would have to come down some more, no luck there either. I did find a deal that included:

Panasonic FZ200
SanDisk 32GB Ultra SDHC card
Power2000 Spare Battery
LowPro Rezo TLZ-10 Bag
6' HDMI cable
Lens cleaning kit
table top tripod
Screen Protectors
Red Giant Magic Bullet Photo Looks
and free shipping all for $569.

Even though I do not need some of the included items it did seem like a pretty good deal since I was about to pull the trigger on the camera alone for $549.
I just checked the tracking number and it should be at my house when I get home from work today.
I cannot wait to try it out, it should be a big step up from my FZ18.

After reading about some of the image quality issues above 400 ISO I am getting a little worried.

So, you are doing the research after you bought the camera?

Tullio,

I do continue to read about each camera even though I have ordered one. New info comes out almost daily about each camera. I plan to keep the camera I buy now for at least 5 years and I want to be happy with my purchase. If the Canon ends up being the better camera I will return the FZ and order the Canon.

Why would you just assume I waited until after ordering to start researching?

jjdog2,

I have not had time yet but is all goes well I will be able to get out with the FZ this afternoon. The down side is all I can really compare it to is my older FZ18.

I will post some pics later.
