Default Frosty Morning

There was a very heavy fog for 24 hours, resulting in what is called a "Hoar's Frost". It results in a winter wonderland!

Wow, so this is frozen fog? I've never heard of it, but it's beautiful!! I love the 3 shots with the lake in the background. Stay warm, Carol!!

Thanks Saly. Yes, this frost is formed from the vapor in the fog. It is like a winter wonderland! Doesn't happen too often, but is beautiful when it does.

Very beautiful, Carol! Thanks for posting. My favs are the first and the last.

The nearest we get to see something like the first one in hot Chennai is dense smog (smoke+fog) in Jan-Feb. I will see if I can remember and take a shot.
